Description

I spotted this old treehouse as I walked past a house near the river today. The roof's caved in, it needs paint, and I wouldn't be surprised to find out there's a bit of dry rot. But it DOES have lots of charm!!

Super find! I've always fancied a treehouse, but I don't think I'd manage the climb now!

Not a cheep bird house available for a song? I must rescale one octave higher with a fifth.

Different, I'll give it that, very different even. I see no windows or doors maybe the hole on the roof is the access point. As you say sure needs a paint job, maybe more subtle colours. Excellent find and capture. Bravo!!!!!

As I recall from my oh-so-distant past, all that matters is that it's there, and that it's private....great find and photo!

Holy Moley, that sure looks a lot like the mailboxes I see when walking around town. I like the various colors and textures depicted in this shot, Marilyn! Is that a wide lipstick impression I see on the middle of the house?

I bet it used to be filled with laughter and children telling stories....if only these old long forgotten places could tell their tales.
