Les trobairitz sont des poetesses ayant vecu dans le sud de la France aux XIIe et XIIIe siecles. Le terme trobairitz, feminin de trobador, est utilise pour designer les artistes s'exprimant en occitan.
Les trobairitz ont compose et joue des vers pour les cours de la noblesse occitane. Alors que les troubadours etaient, le plus souvent, d'origine humble, les trobairitz etaient de naissance noble.
