Farewell Dear D.C.Monteny

I received an email this morning from Dirk's cousin Mark, Dirk passed away this early morning and was in no pain. I am grateful that he is no longer suffering. For those of you that know Dirk from his contributions here on Renderosity, you know that he was a highly diversified artist. He shared his fight and you probably took a trip with him these past two years as he battled his dragon. If you are new to XenoDream, and have not yet met Dirk through his amazing creations, you can visit his gallery Here Dirk has asked that his cousin Mark post work for him in a series called, "Beyond the Grave", and will most likely be on Dirk's Personal Web Site XenoDream image created by manipulation of on of the many Dirk Spirals found in XD .......no more dragons, just flight..U will be missed...

I'm stunned still, and don't know what to say. Except perhaps that this beautiful XD spiral is so perfect for him. I am greatful that he had no pain. I hope he was able to leave when he needed to, as he needed to. My thoughts are with his family now.
