Description

Thirty-three in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California. For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08. Figured I'd finish off my Buick folder with these two inadvertent shots, not the best in the classic series, but really keen in their own striking way. I like the Buick Eight grille because it seems so menacing, virtually like huge teeth, a car perfect for the Halloween holidays. My squared-off reflection sits in the lower middle of the grille. Thankx for dropping by on this contentious, long-awaited, election day, the chips definitely falling where they may.

Buick is a car I found I could draw with pencil from memory. These two are so fresh and colorful I can hardly compare the light involved. Tender is the night.
