Description

Please, watch it full size. The details pop up. Some days ago I posted "Morning Flight", link below. This new image, "Deep", uses basically that same set with a different camera position. I thought it would be fun to see the same scene through a different angle. I kept exactly the same lighting, atmosphere, trees, terrain, water. The camera is now closer to the ground, more or less below where the flying girl was. I changed the ground cover material - before, I had procedural grass, which was fine for that distance, but I couldn't get away with it now, so close to the camera. So, I gave it normal grass now and several other details, like some twigs and a few other plants. Twigs and plants are almost invisible but if they weren't there, you'd notice their absence. The flying girl is still present. On purpose, I didn't want to make her too obvious. She's not the main character, the forest is. thumb_1769494.jpg Thanks for watching!

That's a beautiful forest scene. I need to figure out how to add twigs into an ecosystem someday :)

So beautiful and tranquil. And the flying girl looks as though its as easy to fly as it is to walk. You are establishing yourself as king of the enchanted forests.

It's so beautiful, it makes my heart ache. Could you do a render without the girl? It seems to me that now she has become just a distraction. It is stunning.

The landscape is wonderful, almost real! I don't really like the floating girl in this one, but that's a matter of personal taste ;)

Excellent woodland scene. Just one niggle though, the character appears a little too 'hard light' as if it was added later. If this was the case, this can easily be fixed but giving the character a little opacity. :-)
