Description

We're still here on the bank of Lacamas Creek, gazing at the wonderous beauty that surrounds us. If we look to our left we even see a flower blooming, small and white. We stand here for a while, letting our minds relax, our thoughts of our busy lives, all our worries seem to flow away in the water that sings delightfully to us; the gentle breezes that carry the scent of renewal and freshness that only a wilderness has and carries our cares away. For we are here, now taking in and enjoying the beauty that has existed for years upon years. We are the explorers today. What we find at the end of this hike, no-one can say; what we will see as we hike, no-one knows; all we know, is that we are here together as friends hiking to the unknown. We've been told by Zlata that we are welcome! Let us enjoy the moment and move on. The roaring we've been hearing seems to be more distinct, but still not quite recognisable. We'll look around a bit more and then move on To all who commented on my last image and to those who mad it a favorite, thank you very much! I've noticed that we've picked up some new travelers on this hike, let's make sure that we welcome them and see what they have to offer. Mike

May I join the group for a bit of the hike? Neat concept here...an illustared, ficional narrative. Why not? Sounds like fun. This part of the forrest looks wild and free of the bounds of everyday civilization. Bill

I have to agree, this is a lovely spot, and your story telling almost brings the sound of the rapids and the life thriving in such a wonderful place home. Looking forward to more of the hike, and beautiful capture.
