Description

To me, at the time, it looked as if the mountains and valley were breathing. In the north where it gets really cold you can see breath on a very cool day mostly when you're outside and sometimes even when you're inside. When we were on the Blue Ridge Parkway I could almost see the ridges rise, swell and fall as if it were taking very slow breaths. I don't think I'd ever tire of watching them. Oh well, it wasn't breathing, this was just fog dispering somewhere in the Blue Ridge Mountains Parkway. Thanks for stopping by! Make it a great day!

I love the composition here with the foreground in the two lower corners. Then you have the middle hill with a different color scheme, followed by the background hills that appear to be greener than the ones in front of them. I can almost smell the mountain air. And actually, they are breathing. The thick breathing vegetation is what gives the Smoky Mountains its "smoke"!
