Description

These are bald cypress trees from an area in Mississippi about an hour drive south of Memphis. There was a dock that went out a little ways so we got a good view of the trees, however, I would of loved to have been in a boat or canoe and meander around them in the water! Since we had no boat we took off into the woods following the shoreline of the small lake until we could go no farther. This picture was taken from that spot. A kaleidoscope of colors! And in a swamp, no less! I don’t think I’d like to be in that water, but this shows there is such beauty everywhere. Wonder image.
