Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Nice pov. I like bamboo, except for the mess the leaves leave. Beautiful plants and capture. Aloha

I have a lyric to a song that needs an opus to get going that fits this. In the spirit of Steverino and Jerry Brown's girlfriend I'll let you see it now. I made it up in my kitchen which had bamboo wallpaper to fit my neighbors hedge which was heavenly bamboo. "Bamboo curtain, don't feel certain, don't know where my head is squirtin'" You may have some occult access to an ending.

It looks like you captured someones head(top right) in there Marylin, or is it a birds nest? Excellent capture, I guess it could be both a cat's eye view and a bird's eye view, when you come to think about it. Superb colours. Bravo!!!!!

OOOh. I love this. The colors are so vivid, so rich, and so textured. I'd have fun crawling around here, snapping pictures. This is a brilliant piece of work!

Long years ago, we had a bamboo potted plant for decoration. We left it outside and it took to the ground. And it just grew out of proportions. I finally got it down till its almost gone. Then you walk into a garden store, they are not cheap. Wow! What did I do?????...lol Aloha...
