My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I am with NekhbetSun, what is that thing that looks like a pendulum, and why would you use tweasers in sewing?? I have seen a sewing gauge before but never used one, is it to gauge the stich length for an even finish? I also have seen thimbles but have never used one of those either, apart from when I filched my mothers to play the wash board, can't have sore fingers when playing music. Lol. Question time over! I like you low light capture, and how eveything has this warm bronze feel to it, you have the sharpness of the scissors the pins the seam ripper(denotes cold steel) yet they all have this pleasant warm glow to them. A wonderful achievment imho, you have created such a warm atmosphere to a group of inanimate objects, which should be totally incapable of showing anything. A veritable masterpiece. Outstanding work, I can't wait for more of the same. Bravo!!!!!5+++++

Fantastically captured. I remember looking through my grandmother's sewing kit when I was just a kid...and the stuff there looked just as mysterious as it does here! Great sense of lighting, and wonderful, wonderful color!
