Description

Just what you always wanted huh LOL. This is for our traveling man Sig, I am sure you have seen your share of hubcaps laying by the side of the road of the many highways you have traveled along that you have shared in your gallery. I hope you enjoy this close up view of this barn.

This is a close up from the collage I did a few days back, and I didn't adjust the color the sky was really that blue that day. Hope you enjoy. I am off to go watch our last football game of the year one of the students has been out most of the season, broken foot and he gets to play his final game, and since he is a senior, it is his last game, so I am going to go cheer him and the team on.

Thanks to all for your support and comments and views on my last upload.

Great shot! I've seen buildings like this here in SW Washington... I think of these as heavy-metal Frisbees - wear your gloves!

If you pickup one of these spinoffs be sure to use short metal screws to attach it firmly to the rim and avoid going through the bead wire or puncturing the tubless liner.

Great one Lynell and as weird as it sounds there is a barn close to where I live with hubcaps all over it just like this one.

There were/are a lot of these kind of places around here - some still remain businessless (word?) after half of a century . . ..this is memorable to me. Thanks for sharing a timeless glimpse of the past - this is a fantastic shot Lynell . . . .B . . . .hey, and I like the saturated color of the sky - makes it even more surreal!!!

Hubba hubba on those hubcaps! Really great clarity, colors and textures in this bright composition, Lynell. I didn't know that this was the last game of the season for the Tennessee Volunteers.

I like the artistic arrangement of the hubcaps, with their random placement on the walls. Great capture of this little piece of Americana!
