Hello all:-)
Just a note to say thank you from my heart to yours to all those who have written to enquire as to how I am doing. I am finding it increasingly difficult to find time or energy to write to each individually.
The healthcare system in my area is totally messed up and most of it is due to incompetent help, lack of communication from doctor to patient, or doctor to doctor. They continually mess up my prescriptions by either not filling them as I need them or giving the wrong miligrams. If my doctor isn't in I have to see whoever is covering for him and inevitably they think its okay to change what he is giving me so I wind up doing without essential medication until the mess gets straightened out which in some cases can be weeks...
I am still waiting for my insurance card, they have sent it to me three times with the wrong provider on it so its unuseable, again I await a new one and while I wait for that, I now can't get any appointments until December. I have called the prescription line three times in a month because they keep 'forgetting' to fill my diabetes meds...I am now without them again until they get someone who knows what the heck they are doing and I can't ever speak to the nurse, its always the prescription line..
I know that some of you are experiencing the same sort of things from a failed system and I feel bad for you because I know how it feels, to feel sick all the time, to be so tired you can't do hardly anything, to be in constant pain and to be so angry or to break down into tears because it seems as though you are just spinning wheels trying to get out of their mess. And then there is the almighty dollar factor, like me I am sure many can't afford over the counter meds or alternative solutions to fill in when this happens.
I'm lost, have tried all I know to do, don't know anymore what to do so I just wait. Thanks for reading and many thanks for understanding that I am unable to comment much right now, I do look at the ebots as I can, maybe once a week. I haven't even the energy to do my art and have taken only 4 photos since my last post. BUT! believe me when I say they won't keep this woman down forever and I will be back with a new soap box regarding healthcare...I do feel some measure of hope with our new president elect and I am grateful to all who supported him! See you all soon I hope and again, thank you!

Keep your chin up Lynn. That is sad I know what it is like not getting your pain meds or enough to get you through . Now as for your insulin that is just crazy they are screwing that up. My love and prayers are with you my friend

Lyn, great that you've managed to post this! We all hope you can some action on your meds quickly, it seems that we can do space exploration but can't give folk basic health care. They won't suppress you for long!

Lynn can't they fax you the card rather then waiting on the postal service, you might want to call and request that. You are missed here, but take care my friend. This art work is beautiful by the way.

Oh ! Take care Lynn ! I didn't know your healthcare system was that bad... Keep the faith : there is always a solution. I hope you'lle get your medication for your diabet soon. I have one pupil who is diabetic and I know how important it is to have your medication!

Lynn, this is a really beautiful image - always one of my favorites! So sorry to hear about the issues you're having. Someone commented the other day that they are concerned about us moving towards a universal healthcare system because it might lessen the quality of healthcare that we receive. LOL - like it could get any worse, huh?!?!? Anyway, I hope the problems are resolved soon and that you are up and about and feeling better even sooner! Hugs, sister -- Susan

Well Obama talked the talk, let's see if he's able to walk the walk?..Politicians care for the world and their wife whilst campaigning, then conveniently forget all they promised once they have their foot in the door, to quote GW "Read my lips NO NEW TAXES!!"...If only THAT were true, but the one saving grace for you all is that you don't have the useless mindless pillock running the UK...I hope you get better soon Lynn, and please hurry back, you are missed already....Beautiful image here sweetie!
