Description

I took this image of the famous Tower Bridge a couple of years ago on a visit to London. It was really dull and I haven't even considered it for my gallery. Our dear friend Ronnie (PD154) introduced me to HDR and Topaz. I dragged this puppy through PS Topaz Adjust and all of a sudden it just popped. This is for you Ronnie to say a big thank you!! I was like a little kid since I downloaded the plug-in. Oh - and there are many more to follow!!! We are having a really cold and miserable weekend and couldn't even spend time in the garden. It has been either raining or drizzling every day since Friday... But I'm not complaining.. in fact... *smile* Thank you for clicking in and for your very valued comments and favs on my previous upload. Hugs, Carin xx This is a definite zoomer!!!

Well done - it really does make the detail leap out of the image that was always hiding there.

Wow, isn't it rewarding to discover a way to resurrect shots you have mentally discarded in the past. I do the same thing. Comb and recomb the files of the last three months or so...a new crop, a rework on a photo filter and poof...something acceptable after all. Like the HDR. Have read about it but need a little upgrade on software. Bill

You could have done with the border just a couple of pixles thinner Carin, it has just cropped off the very tip on the left hand tower. Other than that one small critic the rest it top notch. You have done a great job with the postwork, good on you. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!5++++

I looked at Bruce's image a while ago, and downloaded Topaz immediately, but then I had to leave to sit with a friend this afternoon. (She's sleeping right now.) My fingers are fairly itching to play with my new toy! Your image is making me crazy, it's so good! I want to find out what I can do. :) (Have you tried Xero yet? It's another free downloadable filter set.)

Wow Carin, that really Pops out. Perhaps you should send it to the London city council and they might paint it better. AS for the rain, get a riancoat and and umbrella and go out, camera in hand, and explore. Rain is my favourite time for that (Sorry Bruce lol)

Magnificent in its sheer awesomeness, Carin! An ostentatious display of antiquity. Love the POV and all the gingerbread and textures.
