Alone... alone... oh so alone. What is it this that brings me discomfort?... the discomfort of what?... I do not know. Or is it that if we were to be alone with ourselves, we would get to know ourselves so much better? No matter where we go or where we have been, we are always there. This is a strange way to think about ourselves and yet I feel that sometimes we don't think about ourselves at all. It is in these times when we are focused outside of ourselves that we seem to take no notice of what is happening inside of ourselves. How can that be?... we are always with Us. Try as we might... due to our human condition... we seem to ignore and sometimes even neglect the most important person in our lives... Us! So today... just for today... let us take the time to look within and get to know that wonderful Self which is Us. Let us get to know that inner Self that is always there waiting to give us support, courage and love. Let us take the time to be gentle to Ourselves and take the time to treat Ourselves. We are so busy taking care of other people that we sometimes forget that we also need to take care of ourselves. We should always be kind and gentle to ourselves... for when do, we will be able to be more kind and gentle to those who are in our experience. Take time to love yourself... for when you give love to yourself, you are able to give more love to those in your life experience. Take time to nurture yourself... tell yourself what a wonderful You that you are. When you nurture yourself, you are more compassionate to others. The old saying "to give is to receive" is like a never-ending circle and you too are a part of this infinite circle. You will be amazed at what can happen when you step into your circle of life. Our thought for the day is: 'If I am not yet who I will be and have yet to become that which I am... how am I to know who I was?' This is a thought to ponder for sure and most certainly one with many outcomes. You be the judge. Gayle O I wish you joy so that you may know love...
