Description

When learning oil painting: I extracted this using Cezanne's 'Pierrot and Harlequin' as a reference. Also wet-in-wet(previous post Manet), but Cezanne's style is different and the hues have much heavier contrast and I wanted the challenge of handling these colours. Much less mixing on pallette and and more on canvas, zoom in to see the loose colours on the faces.

Agreed , technique is very very well captured "Cezanne " had a cubism - geometric approach to his art as demonstrated in the red and black check pattern on the garment !
