To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather

Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

Gorgeous work! I really need to dig up a copy of that book - it has been ages and ages since I read any of the Arthurian legends. May have to find a copy of the movie Excalibur too! As for the more recent King Arthur. That was one of those, sounded good on paper but really was a disappointment (IMO) as a movie.

Lovely and magical composition, Sugar plum. Love the bonsai alike tree growing out of the cliff. Beautiful blue magic is in the air for sure. I hope it will fall upon Dirk. He really need it. A very nice man with a big heart. This is a wonderful dedication to him. Hope it will do him good.

Mina, you have created a wonderful masterpiece yet again. This is a gorgeous image with lovely coloring and blending. Super job with the castle and stars. Very earthy yet mystical at the same time. This image is as pretty and delightful to view as a crisp Fall breeze is to feel upon one's skin ... 10+

I like this title better although who could argue that the original was not a classic? Overall stunning but what I really like is how the nebulosity on the upper right also seems to be a rock wall which at the base supports the castle. That is a crafty bit of layer work. The ethereal quality of the queen is wonderfully crafted.
