thank you for making me aware of Dirk, with this beautiful piece as a tribute...you've captured the utopian grace & dream of the Arthurian legends, but you've also captured the deep grace & vision of you, with a made-of-spirit queen, a beautiful craggy castle, your almost Oriental trees windswept on a precipice, and one of the most beautiful mountain depictions I've seen—melded into sky & cosmos & stars all at once. A textural cornucopia, the palette is in deep beautiful blues, and a reminder (once again) why you're one of our most beloved & best artists. I fav'd it before, but it's worth saying again: Beautiful.
