Thought that's probably what they were... WWII left overs. Directly behind the abbey ruins. Hitler got one look at these and called off the invasion. Never have so few done so much for so many... Love it. Bill

Or is it the pilings a barracks or gun platform was built on. They don't look very effective against any tank built in the last 100 years. Maybe anti-jeep
