Description

This was at the end of a pleasant day yesterday in Yorkshire. Well I say pleasant..earlier on I had tripped backwards and in an effort to protect the camera crashed into a dry stone wall..gashed my hand and cut my wrist.I don't recommend having an encounter with a dry stone wall..it hurts. But as we walked on the last part of our day out I saw this reflection and the lovely late sky as dusk fell. Eddie

This has to be one of the great photos to grace this site in a long time. What a great capture. Oh by the way I did a dance once in a river trying to protect my camera once. Made it to shore and scraped my knee real bad.

I don't trip or fall as much as I did a few years ago but that is only because I now stay on my feet while walking into things - mostly doorways that don't dodge my approach any better than I skirt their frames. :-) Lovely scene you saw here and nicely captured. So glad your camera came away unscathed... the cuts on you will heal but if the camera had been damaged - eeeeeeKKK!LOL
