Description

Malham Cove - Yorkshire A beautiful area in the Yorkshire Dales very popular with walkers climbers and bird watchers.Excellent place to see Redwing and Skylarks. In the recesses of the cliff face Peregrine falcons nest and can be seen swooping over the valley. Following the stream brings you to the base of the cliff face where there is a path to the left that takes you up to the top of the cliff where you can walk across the lime stone rocks and descend on the right hand side.Extending the walk takes you to a place called Janet's Foss where it is said Fairies live behind the water fall.No I haven't been drinking..its an old folk tail. This is the place that I was meant to go on a field studies trip from school when I was 16, but I was too shy! Perhaps I'll go now, 50 years on! A superb shot, as ever!

Superb shot! The cliffs do not look as high as they do when you are looking down from them lol... I do love the variations in colour and texture. The water is excellent!!!! Thank you for sharing :)
