Description

Meet the new girl in the forest! Corinda Wallac. She's the human exchange for Noria, Bambi's friend. Zlata has met Corinda on the path to the realm.... Zlata: Hi there! Corinda: (screams) Oh! Oh my! you startled me! Zlata: (looking at the bags) What's all this stuff? Corinda: Those are my spare clothes that I just bought. Zlata: Well, you won't be needing them where you're going. All your needs will be met in the realm. Corinda: what about my cellphone? and my laptop? and my mp3 player and my.. Zlata: None of those are necessary where we're going nor will they work in the realm. You are here to learn our ways. You can't very well learn them with all this stuff. We'll find a place to store them safely until the exchange period is over. Corinda: When will that be? Zlata: About two of your years from now. Corinda: Two years?!?! You mean to tell me that I have to live without my cellphone and my laptop and my... Zlata: Yes and you will survive, trust me on this. I see that you've already changed into the dress we provided for you. You look good in it. Corinda: Thank you! Zlata: Shall we go? We've a ways to walk to the realm. Corinda: Okay, I guess I'm ready. Are you sure my stuff will be okay? Zlata: No one will see anything. It will be protected by our magic and made invisible as well. Now come along, Corinda! You have people to meet... They walk on down the path and when Corinda looks back, her clothing and other items are gone from sight. She shrugs her shoulders and follows Zlata deep into the forest to start a new adventure. I want to give a very special thanks to Syltermermaid for Almudena who is now Corinda, at least in this story. Thank you, Ute! She's a lot easier to use than I thought. Corinda muses [pun] to herself: Two years...in FLATS! No heels, no hiking boots, no boots! Bummer! This Fae stuff is supposed to be glamorous. I hope they have a hypoalergenic foundation and bug repellant... And all my stuff will have dead batteries in two years! Did I pay off my credit card? ( :D )
