Description

At the place where I do volunteer work as well as do maintenance. there were some mushrooms growing along side the fence. The Executive Director asked me to take care of them. But before I picked them, I took a series of pictures of all the mushrooms that were in the area. I have since learned after looking them up in a reference guide that I threw away some perfectly edible mushrooms. Oh well! As a bit of reference, the mushroom closest to the camera is 6 inches across the cap and that was not the biggest one there. Only post work was by Corel and that was to crop and put my mark on it. I may reload this tomorrow with one of my fae standing by it or on it. We'll see what happens tomorrow. As a note, some questions were asked about Macy's in the Pacific Northwest, Yes there is one in Portland, Oregon and so it is conceiveble that Corinda had gone shopping for 'stuff' to take with her. Thank you all for your wonderful and encouraging comments on the last image. and the faves Have a great weekend Mike

WOW!!! You weren't kidding! Those are some colossal shrooms! Perfectly edible, huh? I dunno...they look like more the 'magic mushroom' variety to me....eh, but what do I know? Fantastic shot!

wonderful shot my friend. i recall when we lived in luxembourg ute and me went often to the forest to get mushrooms. she knew them all. but then when chernobyl happened it was almost over although we kept on collecting mushrooms and ate them well. thats maybe the reason it is so clear in our bedrooms(lol) do not need a light to read during nights-laugh! very nice shot,my friend, well done.

That is a great photo! Also, better to err on the side of caution when it comes to mushrooms unless you know with certainty what you are consuming.

wow.. and I used to play 12 inch records in the past we use cm here.. so 6 inch by itself would not mean a thing.. but half the size of a record... WOW that is impressive

These are definitely NOT edible! Why on earth where you asked to get rid of fungi outdoors, I wonder. A superb pic.

Great shot. There's tan ones with a bluish ring near the edge; those're Psyilocybin aka "Magic Srooms" very trippy :-)
