Description

A quick upload tonight. This is from my garden (again). These zinnias couldn't decide what color to be. Still my favorite flowers in the garden this year :) My previous upload, "Texas Salt Flats". Thanks for stopping by ~ It's still hot and very windy here. In some parts of the state (California) they have had (and are still having) some horrible fires. Many homes have been lost. Pray for these families~ I hope you are having an enjoyable weekend~ Have a happy day. Hugs, ~Melinda~

An entire spectrum of lovely colors constitute this humble zinnia, Melinda! I've had smokey skies and ashes floating down like snowflakes around here. I really feel bad for the folks that lost their homes and valuables.

This is gorgeous, as others have stated already. I love the sense of color here, it's definite, but muted and somewhat "ashy" in a really good way...almost like an aged photograph, yet at the same time, there is an intensity as well. It's all beautifully balanced. Great work.
