Description

Since I'm being chided on more than one front for not posting frequently enough, my dear Iceshark suggested I post my Halloween Entry. It's the only thing I have that I feel is finished enough to post. Especially since all the good pictures from our Halloween display are on her camera (check out Iceshark39's gallery to see what I mean). My entry to the 2008 Halloween contest here. I knew I didn't stand a chance, not with all of you great artists here. Still, it was fun to come up with. I'm particularly proud of my skeletal warrior playing the skull toss game. Here's the original text that went with it: Come and join the Carnival of Evil! Join us in a game of chance, have your future told, see the freak show (or is the Manticore one of the carny rides?) But once you join our revelry, you may never leave *insert maniacal cackle here* Inspired by the contest title itself and thoughts of what might be included in such a Carnevil. Assembled and Rendered In Daz Studio 2.1 and post worked in Paint Shop Pro 9 over the course of about for days (spread out over two weeks between work days) using the following products: M3, M3 Skeleton and Skeleton Textures, V4, Morphing Fantasy Dress, Chouihani Textures, Fortune Teller Accessories, Hunter’s Moon Environment all from Daz M3 Vampyre by Morris (DAZ) 19 Century Suit Pack and Accessories by Lourdes Mercado (DAZ) Nosferatu Textures by Moyra (DAZ) Balach costume by Vampir3Princess and Lesthat (DAZ) Lilith and expansion by Rebelmommy and Tiltedhalo (DAZ) The Manticore by Valandar and Valea (DAZ) Camelot Tents by Noggin (DAZ) Battle Tent Expansion by RawArt (DAZ) Meat Stand from Medieval Market and Barrel Bench from Medieval Inn by Faveral (DAZ) Fog Tool Deluxe III by Nerd3D (DAZ) Snake Staff and Ground Plane from Daiwa's Dominion, Skulls from Lost Land by DM Productions (Rendro) Hermione Blue Crystal Ball by Orion1167 (Daz) Lights and Poses by me

smirk You know you're gonna pay for that, right? Wise guy! I LOVE this image! Particularly how you made the Ringmaster half human(ish) and half skeleton! And the skull toss skeleton is still my fave! Only question, what prize does he win if he knocks the pile of skulls down? A stuffed human? Thank you for posting this, love. I'll ease up on my harping now....for a bit. You're better than you give yourself credit for, and you know it. ;-)

I knew about you through Stacey... Hell, I've even seen your face before I seen you gallery. I just found out today - 12.27.08 that you did an upload with me in mind on 12.2.8... 3 weeks ago... but, I did see it, always love to hear myself mentioned.... ....I do recall seeing this in the entrees. I like this. I love the tents, background, props....looking at the other entrees, I noticed a hand in most pictures were jestering to "come here"... Since there were so many that had the jester, I think that could of been the ONLY reason you didn't place.... I like what you have going on in this, it's cool. YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!!
