Description

An image a long time in the works. It took forever before I was satisfied with how it looked. When I first began work, I just had the idea of this ferocious female dragon rider and her mount descending into battle. The more I was working into the image, the more I was thinking of the scene in the novel version of Eragon where Aria and Saphira shattered through Isidar Mithrim, the giant star sapphire in the dwarf city of Tronjheim, and rode down to intervene in the battle between Eragon and Durza. Hence my dragon turned blue. My Rider became a brunette elf. I agonized over getting a nice stone background to represent being inside the hollowed mountain kingdom, trying various caves and bits of architecture. Finally I got a good background and tips on rendering my Rider and Dragon on a transparent layer thanks to a tutorial in the Magical Glyphs Backgrounds package by Caballus. SO… after sitting in a saved file for a long time, I finally pulled it back into the runtime and finished it today so I’d have something to post. Thanks to Iceshark’s urging and our recent discussions of dragon riders for getting me inspired again. very good work fun how things grow and grow Get them Girl.. i would say superb esp with the blue fire SBus is right Of course it looks even better when enlarged as that was the size you made it... I just saw it large and the mouth dropped open.. GREAT
