My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Balance...ah...I'd almost forgotten what that was! You've crystallized so much here, and yes..."be who you are/all else follows". That is pure wisdom, elegantly stated.

I really miss balance, I was out somewhere not long back, and to get a shot of something(I forget what) I had to get close to the edge of a drop, not a big drop, about five feet, but I could not stop shaking, this from a bloke who used to walk across the ridge tiles on a house, who climb mill chimneys for a bet. I know your writing about a different balance Tara, and I feel that part of me isn't too bad at all, its the physical side of me that hurts, the mental side is pretty good. Excellent prose, a joy to read. Bravo!!!!!!

Did you ever see the little toys called Weebles? Weebles wobble but they don't fall down:) Hon, you know, I never would have taken this so light heartedly if I was commenting close to when you wrote this. But here, 13 1/2 months later, I think I can make you smile. I know you are in balance on the last night of 2009:)
