Description

Please watch full size. It seems I can't get away from creating forests. Sorry for insisting on the theme, but I'm hooked on it. I love working on all the details, creating layer upon layer of complexity, seeing "nature" gradually gaining its form. Vue is great at that because I can keep on adding layers to my terrain materials. The terrain in this image has 25 layers. Thanks for watching!

You are such an incredibly talented artist! This image is gloriously, beautifully wonderful. It is so very realistic, so pristine and colorful and romantically mysterious with the ancient stone statue ... absolutely AWESOME! By, all means, please do continue with this fabulous theme ...

Oh my god that ground is excellent! The ruts in the road, dead leaves in the water. It looks like reality. Rest of the image is great too - the shadows, statue, wall and forest.

I first looked at it and I say it was so beautiful and once again, very outstanding on the land texture but then I saw a rock in the middle, then I got freaked for a minute and realizing it was in a form of a man! Good job on this one.

The multi-layer texturing is amazing, of course, but I always look forward to the twist or surprise. Reproducing nature is quite an achievement, but this goes a step further with the buried giant statue. Gets the imagination racing. Well composed as well, the viewer's eye is masterfully lead to the head by the muddy track, the central shadows and the pointing fingers.

I guess this is where the rest of 'Ozymandias' statue ended up at. LOLOLOLOL That's my first thought, seeing the piece of work. I thought I was hot with two layers on my Volcano. Lordy, that IS an insane level of detail, and pulled off as close to perfect as my eyes can see. Dude, you are all over Vue. You kicked ass on this. Good job.

I for one don't mind the forest scenes, this is spectacular, makes me ponder on the reality of such a scene, the layers that make-up a real forest. Stunning series.
