An extraordinary image in every way. I simply adore the golden cast of light on the farthest section of this frozen terrain. It is so realistic I feel cold, but yet a desire to explore the area despite the hazzards. I think the lighting is perfect, as snow is highly reflective of even the smallest amount of light and if strong enough, able to cause temporary blindness. With the sun here filtering directly through the 'pass' - it's sufficient enough to make the foreground snow very bright. Beautifully done.

A very impressive scene. One cant help feel cold & daunted by the rugged, snowy mountains yet drawn to the warmth of the light. You should be very happy with what you have created. I will be looking forward to your next piece!
