postprocessing? hum? what is done in terragen? can not say :)

Trees, shadows, grass, puddle in road as well as levels adjustment done in photoshop.Everything else is a terragen render..

What a truly beautiful piece of work you have created. It matters not what was or was not done in Terragen - what matters is the end result of the image itself - and this is a great one. To keep a 3D render chained to the program itself is to a 2D artist like me - being forbidden to use anything other than acrylics in a painting. It is the combining of all the best features from multiple programs that designate true creativity in an artist - something you have accomplished with great style in this impressive render - beautiful work!

Some of the most well integrated trees and plants I've seen in a Terragen image. Well done!
bclaytonphoto
are those Vue trees? Very well done, the best I've seen in a long time

There is simply no other rating to give for this image. Wonderful work. It took me at least 15 minutes to see all the little details in the render and I love it. Normally I do not like postprocessing with Terragen much, but this time you sealed my mouth. Great Job.

I can't believe its not Snow! (tm) Excellent! I love the post-stuff as it blends in sooo well. The trees look truly mangled and the cloud map is suitable. I'd have to give you a ten! One thing to look out for is the halo around the trees. I only noticed this when my eyes started going funny. Beaut!

Great pic, love the trees and the snow and the whole thing looks great.

The tree on the left side looks kind of odd, like you made a color selection and replaced it with one that didn't quite match, or you did a strange level adjustment. The branches look tangled, and some look like they're overlapping in impossible ways. Also, there's a weird kind of shadow at the bottom on the left tree trunk. It looks like it's hovering in the air in one spot, and the angle looks wrong considering the light source. One more thing... shouldn't the shadow for the tree on the right include the trunk too, and not just the branches? Or is that tree even casting a shadow? I like your pic, it's very nice, but I think that somebody should point out these discrepancies instead of just offering blind praise.

Just been 'trekking' through some of your gallery marvels..... Great stuff! I replied to this one especially, not only because I love it, but also because of the name - "Mombassa".... I'm not sure of your point of reference for the name, but I spent much of my 'formative' years in Mombasa, (East africa), and that was for me, & still is, a magical place...... Excellent work - well balanced, great 'ambience'! ...... Of course the shadows and light contradict eachother, but somehow it seems to 'work'
