Description

Believe it or not, this started out as gypsyangel's Zyanya in Poser, and then I added a lot of Photoshop. Lots and lots of Photoshop;-) It's just part of a cover I'm working on, and it may not get approved as is, but I had so much fun doing it that I wanted to share it. It follows the book description for a magic mask pretty well, and I got to use my new Photoshop brushes, which was fun, too. The design of the mask is vaguely based on the little Benin ivory mask that you can find on the web. Thanks for looking!

wow. i can't wait to see how this develops. this is just inspiring. i think most people depicting wood wouldn't have used purple, but it works incredibly well, especially with the yellow/orange background. the texture is phenomenal, and the detail looks like a labor of love.
