Description

This is an older shot of a newly fledged & frankly PISSED - Carolina Wren-let. They were nested in a hanging plant JUST outside my BR glass doors - so we had a front row seat to watching them from hatching egg - to this! Ain't he a BEAUTY tho!!??!! One of 3, & NOT exactly the Family's "Brane Trust" - He first fell into an empty 5 gallon rain bucket - BOY could he YELP for his Momma!!! I turned the bucket & gently dumped him OUT of his echoing "prison" & into the Brave New World. He "almost flied" a few staccato FEET & was NOT at all HAPPY when I snapped his first close-up!Hope he puts a grin on your face today too! Thanks for all your kind comments & encouragements! NEVER take making an independent STEP for Granted - You never know when you won't be able to again! Pun intentional on many levels. Well to a brit being pissed is being sloppy drunk, but I have tons of American friends and know it means being angry :)...LOL what a cool shot and great title.

Teri, I think he's adorable! I just love the seriousness of baby birds. They soon outgrow it and begin showing some humor but in the feather-down stage they do have the most serious faces. Great shot!
