Superb modelling, textures and a very realistic render. If I could make a suggestion about a little rusty water staining around the nail heads on the door itself.

Wow, are you sure that's a model?! Excellent realism!

Without knowing that it was modeled, I would swear it was a "real" photo. My only observation is the moss on the two boards just below the latch appears brighter and less natural then the moss on the rest of the door and frame. You really do fantastic work! Thank you for sharing it.

Your modelling, texturing, shading etc. is consistently top notch (which is why I subscribe!). But here the lighting has a brighter, more mediterrenean feel to it than you usual nordic/gothic lighting and maybe it's this that's causing the "problem" for me. I'm not even sure it is the lighting at fault, the whole image is excellent. But it's kinda like looking at Angelina Jolie - "Wow, awesome, but there's something not quite right " maybe it needs darker shadows, (not more shadows, just heavier in the existing shadow areas). To be honest, I'm not sure what isn't "sitting right" because I couldn't come close to this level of realism, nor would I try. So I'll add the "Wow, Awsome" comment along with everyone else, (and I mean it). I guess there will be posters here that will bash me for making this post and tell me my work is crap in comparison, (which it is), but what the hell - here's my post. I'm a huge fan of your stuff sir! :-)

very good work!! the wood and plaster are excellent, also the rusty iron. maybe the wood is a bit too gray, looks more like the color of cement. the one nail in the middle of the door wouldn' adhere! ;-)

wow. this has an incredible amount of detail. it's a joy to look at all the cracks, the grain of the wood, and the discoloration from the nails. the light does seem a tad bright, but diffuse as if from an overcast sky. artistically, i'm not sure if you want to make the focal point the middle bar on the door, which is where my eye is drawn because the nail discoloration is so bright and contrasts so strongly with the wood. they make me think of eyes. i think it looks realistic, and i find myself seeing things in it as i do real wood and stone surfaces. the cobblestones are still looking great.
