Description

This is a bench not too far from where I live that is always available for that time when you want a quiet place with a lovely view. The view is from a bluff on the west bank (the Kansas side) of the Missouri River. During the period 1888 to 1958, one of the first railroad bridges across the Missouri River stood here. It has since been replaced by bridges to the north and south at many locations. When you need a place to relax, the bench is all yours. Bill

If ever you need a spot to sit and forget your cares, that has to be it.This is an inspired and inspireing view, thanks Bill, and as 'pannyhb' says "an education".Seeing these sights through your lense are like the best parts of a journey, without the tiresome travel.Would love to experience it for myself one day though.
