Description

Wow, my 200th upload. This one is for my Mom who is celebrating a birthday out in California today, she won’t actually see this because they don’t “do” computers LOL even though me and my sister and my two brothers got them one and set it up and taught them how to use it, getting them to actually use it is a whole other ball game, but she will get a calendar with all my photos on it for Christmas this year, so she can still enjoy this one. Happy Birthday Mom, we miss you!

Thanks to all you party animals that commented on my “Old Time Tennessee” photo, now we know who the true Whiskey drinkers are haha! And thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. I hope you like the picture I chose for my 200th upload something about it that’s just me. The type of photos I like to take with a little added fun. Have a fantastic weekend.

I love this Lynell, congratulations on your 200th upload, a great milestone. A very happy birthday to your mum too. Hope she has a great day. One of my friends (more like a sister) who lives on the English mainland calls me Moo as Jersey is famous for our breed of cows.

yesssss! An automatic fav! First because that's an incredible barn—those diagonal slats! I think the builder filled up on a few cases of JDaniels before hand—that's one amazing barn! And second because of that great cow on top! With a barn with that much character, the cow (& your big flat areas of colors) are perfect! Also, I love the weeds in front and even the telephone poles in back, all in wonderful dried colors & textures. And I don't know if you drew that cow, but if that's yours, you got a wonderful sense—I love its shape & feeling. Well happy 200th, may you have many many more! And happy birthday to your mom too! (I do understand the "they don't do computers" thing, btw: My Dad's convinced he'll lose his soul if he gets one. Some people have anti-computer in their DNA...) Well if you ever sell that calendar, I'll buy one. You've got a wonderful gallery, great shots, and this is another gem in the mix...voila! (or maybe I should say, "heee-yooo!")

I think you're saying that the abandonment and derelict state is just for a glance and not for serious study. Any kid given this would look back at you waiting for further instruction and you could say,"There's a cow." And he would settle and hold it close and cherish it.
