Description

Yesterday I gave you soup, today I give you Whiskey Enjoy!!

Thanks for your comments on my last upload, titled, M’m M’m Good, and no that wasn’t my kitchen, but mine is somewhat similar, country style, very organized, and lots and lots of Cookbooks including a Good Housekeeping Cookbook 1st edition, that belonged to my Grandmother, it is something I cherish because it was hers, but mostly because after I received it and opened it I found all types of old recipe cards from Aunts, cousin, recipes she had written inside of the book, including one of my favorites Cranberry Salad, she use to make it every year, now I do, its not quite Christmas without it, if any of you would like it site mail me I would be happy to share it. Some may say that the writing inside ruined the “Value” of the book, well Not me it’s a treasure, there was even a grocery list she wrote years and years ago, I collect cookbooks I even made my own combining my recipes with a bunch of family recipes and included photos and copies of their original recipe cards, I have had many suggest I publish it but I did it more as a gift to my family, and a way to organize all my recipes into one book. Thank you all for your continued support, and a special thank you to butchr for helping me make this thumbnail, and being patient with me as he taught me how. Thank you and like any good student I did take notes. Thanks Butch.

I had a subscription to Jack Daniel's Holiday Cheer online for several years. They saw it as odd but well meaning.

Super clarity and composition in this shot, Lynell! Yessiree, a tempting reminder to come on into the country store, pick up a few bottles of the devil's brew, followed by a rip-roarin' good old fashioned, knee-slappin, Tennessee hoedown.

for maybe 2 million bucks I'll let you see a picture of me after a glass of whiskey. I like whiskey, which is amazing considering I don't drink very much; but I've been known to speak in tongues after one tiny shot. So classics like Jack Daniels bring feelings of yearning and, well, out-&-out hallucinations...This is another evocative capture of old worlds & styles from you, caught with all your usual beautiful old wood, cabinets & other old objects. For the life of me I don't know what those strands are (on the left), but I love them. (Ropes? Chewing tobacco? A major case of exposed wires???) Love how they just dangle there...And thanks for posting a single shot of the "leave your six-shooter with the bartender" poster: Great little poster. (Me? I like to hold onto my six-shooter, but hey that's just me...) Lovely work again, Lynell. You just sniff these things out, they've been waiting for you and then you give them to all of us...

I had more or less guessed the Cowboy sign, but thanks for showing it fully. I'm a Dark Rum drinker myself Lynell, 'Woods 100' is my tiple and at 57% by volume its a pretty strong drink. Taken neat as I do it's like fire water going down your throat, then it explodes and sends warmth out to the tips of your fingers and toes. #;0) hic! hic! Excellent capture of these old fashioned signs, it looks like it may be a second hand shop or antique shop, is that bull whips I see dangling down?? Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
