Description
I found this tombstone underneath a large pine tree where the branches hang down around it. I thought that it was beautiful and would make for a nice picture, but in the original the stone is so shadowed that one can barely see it. So, I messed around with the program and turned it blue. Because of Seth, aka barryjeffer, I found some more inspiration. Therefore, this image is dedicated to him.
Eerie noises in the night
Come from things just out of sight
Things hidden within the shadows
Things never meant to be hallowed
Calling unsuspecting victims
Ones who think they're only fiction
Shadows hidden in the night
Make you run and scream in fright
Except for those who're unafraid
Long ago farewell they bade
Trying to gain powerful magic
Ending in things only tragic
Eerie things are in the graveyard
Kindly people who have turned hard
Statues represent them now
Heads no longer held up proud
