Description

Another shot from my low light session. I have rocks in just about every room in my house. (I think they may have fallen out of my head.) :) When I was looking around for things to shoot in low light, these seemed to be a natural. Polished rocks from who knows where, all different shapes and colors ... it was irresistable! (The large white rock just to the right of center is about an inch and a quarter long.)

Very nice. I like the way that the light glows off of them, almost like fire. Kudos.

Fun, colorful, multishaped, well lit...makes me think of the old store gimmick..."guess the number of beans in the jar." Not sure how many rocks in your picture, but there's more than 25 :) What a good idea. Bill

One of my hobbies is Rock Polishing, and I have a box full of different sorts, I have two tumbling machines to polish them, and it can take up to eight weeks to get them to a high and smooth polish. Quartz, Crystal and Agates are the main ones I have but I pick stones up in the street and take them home as well. Excellent low light work Tara, looks like you have some nice jasper there as well. Bravo!!!!!

A wonderful capture. Like a well presented cup of fruits. (Of cause, a little bit too crunchy, I suppose).
