To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

As I interpret the picture, the Raven ate the Turkey but gracious left the girl a feather, for which she is thankful, and runs home to put in her soup pot to feed her starving family. This is AWESOME! I would love to see it framed hanging on your wall, or in a gallery where it belongs. It was also make a fabulous Holiday greeting card. It is one of your best, IMO, and I am SO glad I do not have to pick just one, and can enjoy them all. You deserve to be #1 on the charts and I am glad to see you make it there.
