Description

No story, this time. Just wanted to do something that showed a mother and her son out berry picking and having a pleasant afternoon together. My father was never really in my life--even when he lived with us. However, my twin brother and I were blessed with a wonderful mother, who put her life on hold until after both of us had left home. She was our rock, our standard, our comforter, and our provider. She gave us values, a home, and her time. Mother was not just a parent; she was a friend and mentor. She watched our backs and we watched hers. I am thankful that I had her around for sixty-seven of my seventy years. As always, thanks for supporting my poor artistic efforts by stopping by and taking a peek. And thank you to those of you who have taken the time to comment. Both are deeply appreciated. Wonderful dedication to your Mother, Jeremy - and so heartfelt. I really enjoy reading the introduction. I found it very insightful. A lovely picture. Interesting that you should use a castle ruin in the background.

Such a lovely piece. I never really knew my mother, my parents split when I was 6-7, my father was very victorian in his parenting, food on the table, roof over the head, what more?....so this is lovely

A wonderful tribute to your mother.....it's also one of your finest renders, I think.....not surprising really, when you have something or someone so special as your muse....
