Description

Crab season is about to start in northern California and these boats are loaded with their pots and ready to sail. There were hundreds of pots on every boat I saw, and even a fenced in area with hundreds more waiting to be loaded. Fill em up, guys and thanks!! It took 12 hours, but I made it to Seattle. (Don't ask about the traffic near Portland; it's NOT fun) I sorta got lost, but Tara talked me in, and got me to her house safely--let the party begin!!

12 hours? were you driving all the way? thats longer than it takes me to get to John'O Groats from where I live. I love to see fishing boats like this, I am always watching the Deadliest Catch on Discovery, the crab fishermen in the Arctic Circle. I always head for the docks whenever I get to the coast. It used to be Grimsby on the East coast and Fleetwood on the West coast but both have geared down a hell of o lot to what they used to do. Superb capture. Bravo!!!!! I hope you girls have a great Thanksgiving, I'm sure it will be fun for the three of you. Happy Thanksgiving to all our American Cousins form the UK.

I just love the thought of fresh crab. Mmmmmmmmm. Sometimes Lance goes out when they're in season here and brings me back a crab. The best part? He cooks and cleans it and brings me a little bag of crab meat!! :) (It's awfully quiet out there ... is everything okay? Do you need another cup of coffee?) LOL!

Beautiful Marilyn! When I was stationed at Paine Field, 8 miles south of Everett (where the Boeing plant now is) we drove several times to Southern California. It is a long haul!
