Description

This is one of the propellers from the engine shot of the other day**. Yeah, that would be my reflection you see in the red, distorted, skewed and slightly off--hmmmm, guess it's really a self portrait!! **crank those babies up and let's go!! Oh, and for those of you about to feast, here's grace: Always at this time of year When skies are dark and murky I'm mostly thankful for the fact I was not born a turkey. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Cool POV on this one...I've always been fascinated by the shape of propellers. Make them shiny and I'm hooked! Great shot!

It doesn't look like this prop has been in the water, a beautiful chrome surface, I must say you look rather short in the reflection Marylin. #;0) Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!! I don't do turkey, unless its a leg. Mind you Pauline bought one a couple of years back, a 12lb ready cooked bird for a fiver(£5.00 GBP) about $2.50 and I sripped the carcase and made turkey broth and turkey curry, I was eating it for six months. Lol. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Nice and shiney reflects...all of them...LOL I'm stuffed and my stomach is filled to the brim. Too many invites to dinner this year, but came home with quite a few 'doggie bags' for later. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

if I had to tell people some of your strengths as a photographer, this would be one of the shots I'd show them. It's big and bursting & the metallic glow is big & sweeping and you got plenty of shadow to set it off. And, for all its seriousness, it's a lotta fun. Also, you have a good chunk of white too, which is a great counter-balance. (And what blues!) Wonderful piece, and I'm glad you got your reflection too. You often add an improvised quality to even your most careful shots, making them jazzy and personal at the same time. Love this capture. Boom: It really hits the eye...
