oh, lovely marilyn. I played classical piano for years, so had lots of experience with that interior. You got the sweep and also the play-of-angles so visible in grands—ie, the way some strings flow at diagonals to others. And your pov caught the heavy frames too. Your low angle captures the 'city from the air' look, or the sense of peering into a great suspension bridge...If you're interested, those strings are strung so tightly that in the 19th C. pianos literally collapsed on themselves: That's why their frames are so heavy. (Try to lift it!) I've actually strung them & had strings break: They explode! The pressure's so great, they sound like crashing chandeliers...It's a lovely shot with just the right lighting. You caught the beast perfectly. Bravo, con brio (with fire)!

Was Tara crawling about underneath photographing the pedals as you took this shot Marylin?? #;0) Excellent pov, we used to have an upright piano in the family home, I don't know why we had it because nobody could play. I think it may have belonged to my grandmother who died before I was born. It was in the 'parlour' and only got used a couple of times as I recall, and that was by one of my sisters boyfriends. Superb capture, showing the works as it were. Bravo!!!!!

Superlative POV, textures and perspective effect in this shot, Marilyn. Harpo Marx used to take pianos apart in the movies and play the strings like a harp.
