woke up & found this strange new world...mandi, it would be a straight nice mountainscape but for all the subtle things you've done with it...you've given it striations on the rock-faces, light blue markings all over the foreground (like mineral deposits or some kind of fungi spreading), rock formations in the foreground that look almost like great mound-sculptures or some kind of ancient message to the gods, the occasional gold streaks applied delicately but sparely, and those fascinating 'stalagmites' that look like branchless treetrunks made of rock & give such a strange eloquence to this mass...in short, you made it a mandi vision, articulate, inward, spotted with little beacons & bordering a vast sea washed in peach hues...it's a landscape of the outer regions of the soul, and I think it's quite beautiful.
