wonderfully horrifying. i'll have to remember this composition technique. you let focal depth and mist keep the background from competing with your main foreground figure. you used repeating multiples and the headstones to give depth and imply the presence of a horde (where there's three zombies in a graveyard, there must actually be dozens if not hundreds more). and you gave us a wonderfully detailed and textured foreground figure, which allowed the other figures to have much less detail but still imply that they have the same complexity. and, of course, good use of colors and contrast.

Wow creeps me out...

Congrats on the card company! Look forward to seeing the other works you have been doing. The Life even with the touch of milkywhitness in the eyes works is a perfect contrast with the dead flesh. Kudos on the flacid and failing skin especialy around the mouth and nose. The gums drawing back and exposing the roots of the rotting teeth is a very grim and authentic touch. What is the cross hatched - almost canvas/cloth looking material on his face? Is it supposed to be tendons? Getting some anatomy referance materials is still on my to do list. The one thing I can not decide is if the high specularity makes everything look to hard - adding the 'wetness' but taking away the rotting movement of the flesh as it has lost the muscles and what not beneath that holds it up - ie firm if you follow.
