Description

This tunnel is part of the road that goes to the old fortress of Deva, Romania (the fortress itself is over 800 yrs old). The hill where the fortress is located, was always a place to retreat and defend when the city was under attack by the barbarian hordes. Many thanks for your comments and ratings on my "Clean Sky"! Great picture! One could easily imagine the people in the tunnel and on the other side, lying in wait to ambush the attackers. Either that or it's the gateway to another realm
