Description
He had thought himself powerful enough to dethrone the reigning Dark Queen. Too long had he toiled under her tyranny! For too many seasons what should have been his was denied to him! And far too many nights he had lain awake dreaming only of her...and to still be denied even the pleasure of her touch. Granted only her cold glance and indifferent distrain.
No more! He would make her see him differently!
However, now, defeated at her feet, he hears her hard, cold laughter echoing in his ears.
"What foolish creatures you men are! Did you honestly think you could possibly win? Against ME?! I am honoured by Darkness Himself and blessed with his powers over ALL others! Yourself included!" The soft whisper of one of her lethal blades through the air above his head sang a death knell he knew to soon be his.
"But," she relented, as he raised a silent hand in hopes to stay his fate at her hands, "no one in an age has rose to challenge me as you have. That, in itself, is something to be said for you. And for you alone." She considered a long moment before she lowered her blades. "I will let you live, I think. Your shame should humble you suitably, so you might learn your place in my reign. You will serve as my consort and companion." A smile played over her lips to his stunned reaction. "Not the reward you were expecting, I'd wager, but," she purred now, soft and deadly, "you belong to me now, and all that had been denied to you before this night, will now be gifted."

The orginal concept of this piece was inspired by a work by Kit Rae (a most talented sword designer) "The Last Stand" a compliment to actually two of his Swords of the Ancients - Avaquar - The Sword of the Deep and Anathar - The Sword of Power.

I like it - However, this man needs to get off his knees, find the free stuff room, get himself one of those "ball gags", some chains, something to chain her too... she thinks humiliation will serve him well, well, it just might - lol ...
