Description

Giving up is never an option. It's always scary to face your self, to truly see with inner eye and achieve self-assessment without self-obsession, to become who you really want to be but think that you are not. Emotions defy understanding. They fill a different space and are the source of much creativity, but all too often you allow your self to become their slave. Feel the emotions, don't fear them. Let them happen, tame them, liberate them, write paint sing about them until they let you be. Healing is a slow process. Anger shuts out joy. Tears release but do not soothe - a rain of draining fear. You can stop it by learning to be without expectation of your self. Find who you are every time you exercise your creativity or give of yourself. Run ahead of the wind to the source of the glow, the source of the smile, and let the clamour subside. Listen to the inner silence that unleashes the power of true communication, compassion and creativity. faroutsider © 2008-12-03 ********************************************************** "Self-talk to talk myself down." Very profound. And hit home hard. I create to remember, and to forget. A very delicate balance. The smile eludes me as does the light. Thanks for the words. Beautiful flame too.
