Description
Last March I was visiting my son, who lives in Truckee, Ca, near Lake Tahoe. My sister was there as well, and she and I took a walk along the lake. We came upon this young hawk sitting on a post at the lake's edge. He let me get SO close to him, less than 5 feet. I've posted another shot of him, but used some of my newfound toys to sharpen and perhaps improve the shot. Hard to do, since just seeing this amazing bird so close was as close to perfect as photography can get!!
