Description

Captured this one with my Lensbaby and its macro kit. Often when I create my Lensbaby macros I don’t bend the lens (like their ad slogan "bend it") and just kind of weave back and forth until I feel the image is suitably sharp where I want it to be – I use my gut more than my eyes when doing that. Sometimes it is hard to tell if I’ve gone too far soft. I’ve changed my mind about this image several times since prepping it to be posted but finally decided that I really like it and to post it. I hope you agree : ) It’s so nice to be able to find some time to post and browse the galleries again. I find that when I take the time to really try to formulate into words what I like about an image it helps to improve my photography. This is especially true in the areas that I am lacking in such as landscapes, architecture, and wide angle views – I am very much a macro kind of girl. I just added a bunch of images to my favorites list over the past couple of days so anybody that likes the types of images that I like and are pressed for time can take the shortcut route to some fabulous imagery! Thanks for all the recent comments and favorites – they add much cheer to a dreary cold day!
