Description
The canals I travelled along last week all looked very similar to this when lined with homes. Here the water is not quite so ripple free, but the reflection still impressed me. I did not use the Flood Filter, I swear!

Hopalong
As an image, it is instructive how badly it compares with the last. As a reflection of the reality the photographer saw it is also instructive. As the front of a wish-you-were-here postcard, it stands as a strong warning to stay away. The locals have had their way with landform in the canals, and show themselves rigid, mechanical, and boring in a six-pointed asterisk to the horizon--cruel beyond words to themselves and others as well.
